A Platform for Women’s Solidarity
In collaboration with Women for Palestine نساء من أجل فلسطين
Women for Palestine is a community initiative of women in Jordan who are standing in solidarity to support the women of Palestine in their fight against inequality, injustice, discrimination, and violence.
The collaborative effort with the initiative resulted in defining their visual voice by establishing a symbol of women's solidarity with Palestine and Palestinians. We created a symbol that could serve as an international icon expressing moral support for Palestinian women.

Inspired by the Arabic language, we found that there are many vocalization marks (Tashkeel/Harakat) and the (Kassrah) is the one that is commonly used to identify the feminine gender in the case where the same pronoun, word, and verb are used to refer to both genders.
The Kassrah Expression?
The Kassrah represents the power of the Palestinian women. It represents a hope for the future and the goodness of people and institutions that publicly support Palestinian women in their fight . It is intended to evoke solidarity with women resisting oppression, inequality, injustice, discrimination, and violence.
The colors:
Black and white are used to represent sharpness and anger, as Palestinian women come in all shades of anger.
